17 | Course Objectives | The objectives of this course are to: 1. develop comprehensive grasp over the meaning of and the rules derived from the selected Ahadith al-Ahkam. 2. derive Shari’ah rulings from the selected ahadith. 3. grasp the reasons of differences among the various schools of law and the approaches of Muslims in dealing with it.

21 | Course Synopsis | The course focuses on objectives and legal injunctions deduced from some Sahīh Hadīth selected from the book, Subul al-Salām by Imam al-San’ānī, on various topics, such as the purification (tahārah), prayer, zakāh, funeral, pilgrimage, fasting, foods, marriage, trading, wills and endowment (wasāyā & waqf), and justice.
